On the main road through Montecreto, La Valle Montanara is an unpretentious place that works as a bar from the morning and a trattoria at lunchtime. The cooking is homely: crescentine and gnocco fritto with cured meats, tortelloni and, if you book, the traditional stews.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings it also becomes a pizzeria. It is closed on Mondays.
