In Vesale, a small hamlet of Sestola overlooking the Scoltenna valley, Locanda Zita is an address that Cimone regulars have been passing on for years. The atmosphere is family-style and the cooking is Apennine, with porcini mushrooms as the house speciality, crostini to start and homemade pasta.

It is open from Friday to Monday, from morning until late evening, and closed from Tuesday to Thursday. Booking is a good idea at weekends and during the mushroom season.
